What is True Charity Certification?
There are many non-profit certifications swirling around. While they all serve useful purposes, most overlook one key category – program effectiveness.
Is a poverty fighting program structured to accomplish anything meaningful?
That’s why the True Charity certification is different. Yes, measuring program effectiveness is tough, but we can get close. We measure whether programs are founded on the three pillars of True Charity.
True compassion can never be mandated by the government. We have an obligation to help our own neighbors as directly as we can. True Charity is 100% voluntarily sourced.
True empowerment of the poor results in self-sufficiency, never dependency. To aim toward the mark of empowerment, True Charity is challenge-oriented.

How To Get Certified
1) Join the True Charity Membership Network: Network membership equips you to understand and implement these pillars through training and consultation.
2) Once you are a Member: Fill out the Certification Application: Once you complete the application in our member portal, we will be in touch by phone or email to discuss the contents. If you are practicing all three pillars, you are eligible to be certified. If you’re not quite there, we’ll work with you until you are. There is no additional cost associated with the certification other than network membership.
